On the occasion of August 31, the anniversary of Imam Musa al-Sadr’s abduction in Libya
A number of his services:
– Activating “Beneficence and Charity Society” in the Lebanese city of Tyre. The institute was founded by late Abd al-Husayn Sharaf al-Din in 1946.
– Founding a technical and vocational school in Jabal Amel as the first scientific complex in Shia areas.
– Founding the Lebanese Resistance Regiments movement also known as AMAL in 1974.
– Founding the Supreme Islamic Shia Council in 1969 in an effort to creating unity in the Shia discourse in Lebanon’s civil context against the social oppression.
