Disastrous martyrdom of Muhammad al-Durrah (September 30, 2000)
The father (Jamal al-Durrah) shouted asking them to stop shooting. But all his shouting was to no avail. Jamal tried to protect his son, but a bullet tore through the father’s right hand before hitting Muhammad in the right leg. A second bullet tore the kid’s hand and leg before hitting his abdomen and pelvis.
