The U.S. assistance to Iraq during the war and particularly its final two years:
1. Providing the Iraqi army with intelligence through Awacs planes, satellites and eavesdropping.
2. Offering hefty loans to the government of Iraq.
3. Selling several Bell 214 helicopters to the Iraqi army.
4. Targeting Iran’s boats, ships, warships and passenger planes.
